Hayat Mall was founded by Al-Hayat property company in 2007 and is one of Riyadh’s biggest shopping malls. It is one of the projects of Al-Andalus Real Estate Company which is a pioneer in the real estate sector. A number of notable establishments are located within the mall, including liwan area, an integrated restaurants
complex, great recreational spaces, and various galleries with more than 10 million visitors annually.
As a result, the Cityscape International Award was awarded to Hayat mall in 2010, the same year it debuted as one of the best commercial projects in the heart of the capital.
THE BRIEF
When Hayat Mall reached out to us in the beginning of 2022, we were thrilled to assist them with their website and application, since they are a sister company to Al-Andalus Company.
We were already familiar with the clients as we have a history with them and we hold them in high regard. We were required to create a responsive website and application

Website Design
Following the approval of the website design, we developed the homepage, presented it to the client, then made several modifications according to their demands. We created a responsive website that is in both English and Arabic languages. The website contains a search box, shop details, visitor information, what’s new section, newsletter, services, and many other features.
Development
Once the design stage was completed, we added the requested features such as customer registration forms, account verification, sign in/login, Indoor navigation, and QR codes. Their website also contained daily questions, when answered correctly, gave the customer points and increased their ranks. These points can later on be used to receive offers and promotions based on the rank.
The website allows the customers to make reservations in restaurants and sends a verification email/ SMS. Some of the other features are:

LAUNCHING
It is our pleasure to announce the successful transition of Hayat Mall website that has just been launched on the Linux server after finalizing the installation of the WordPress plugins.

Mobile Design
The application design was completed in the same way as the website design. We started off by creating three different mobile application design templates that included all pages, titles, icons, different categories with their banners, services, and notifications. Following the selection of a template, the client feedback was collected, and some minor adjustments we made based on the insight we gained from the client.
The templates also included a home page, news, gallery, stores, new arrivals sections. At this stage, our developers were preparing for application development by revising all the necessary requirements.
Mobile App Development
After the design was finalized, development was initiated. Some of the most important features created were:
Search box: The system allows users to find information using the Smart Search Feature.
What’s new: Spotlight on (Retailer, product, Restaurant, dining, entertainment, services)
Multi- level filter on the main page at the brand /shop section/navigation/page, were
Visitors can search directly by the main categories (i.e., Restaurant, Beauty Spa, Fashion etc.)
Visitors can search directly by the brand name or by Alphabetical name
All the Brand/Shop details will be visible on the respective brand/shop detail page
Some of the other available services are Mall information (opening and closing hours), delivery service, lost and found, free WIFI, shop, drop services, discover Events & Offers, visitor information, Newsletter, help desk and customer service.
A contact page with a validated query form and google location for easy navigation along with the customer profile, account verification, and a sign in/Login features were created.
Another important requirement was for the backend to be a completely dynamic dashboard to ensure that the admin have the full flexibility to access and modify anything whenever they desired.
Launching
The application developed is responsive, works on both iOS and android systems, and is in both English and Arabic languages and we launched successfully in playstore of IOS APP and Android App
After its successful launch, the constant maintenance of a large-scale website like that of Hayat Mall is a highly demanding and mundane task. EBOX® Solutions has been fortunate to be assigned the maintenance of the Hayat Mall website and Mobile App ever since its launch.

Closing Thoughts!
All projects were closed successfully. It was a pleasurable journey. Due to the concise strategies adopted, there were no “Oops!” moments that would have required major changes during the development. Paying careful attention to minute details like those considered in our projects gave us the ability to end up our projects successfully.
