Saudi Ceramics Company is a leading provider of quality-building solutions that include various types of ceramic products (ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, sanitary wares and accessories), electric water heaters, bathrooms fittings, including baths, shower trays, mirrors and mixers. Other products include plastics and red bricks.
With 40 years experience, the company has gained a well-deserved reputation for manufacturing quality and standards, both nationally and internationally.
We were first approached by Saudi Ceramics in 2004, for the design and development of a website. Saudi Ceramics remained our constant maintenance client for 10 years.
We were thrilled to have our client back, 14 years later, in search for an enterprise bulk SMS service.
The requirements for the site were gathered. A site structure was designed for approval from the client. Business models were also written and shared with the client. A flash animation was needed for the introduction and a control panel was needed to update the company’s financial report. An ad banner engine was also required. Material to be used was provided on a CD.
The pages needed to be designed before we could start with the “Development” phase.
Two options of the homepage design and two color combinations were presented to the client to choose from. A “Products” page was designed, based on the design of the homepage. The same design was to be used on all the rest of the pages.
Once the pages were designed, we moved on to develop the site. The website was
developed with HTML, CSS and ASP, with an ASP control panel.
A flash animation of the logo was created.
The files were delivered to the client on a CD. This was followed by a training session, held at the client’s premises
Saudi Ceramics is currently benefiting from the SMS API of our SMS Gateway, integrated into its SAPC and CRM system. It is also using our Bulk Messaging service to broadcast bulk messages to all employees of Saudi Ceramics.
The successful launch of a website is always followed by a need for constant maintenance, which is a havoc for many. The server was built with Acronis Web Cloud, cPanel/WHM - Fully Managed including securities scanning related to PCI DSS (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards). EBOX® has been pleased to handle all site maintenance tasks and updates for its worthy client, since our first launch of its website in 2004.
The site was successfully delivered to the client. The successful launch of the site opened more doors for business with the client, when we were assigned the hosting and maintenance of the site for many years. We hope that the newly purchased SMS service is really benefiting the client and look forward to further projects with them in the coming years.
